Youth Program Business Development Specialist
Position Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to promote and market youth programs through direct outreach, partnerships, business development and advertising to ensure full course enrollments.
Role Qualifications:
AA or Bachelor's degree in marketing or business development.
Equivalent of 1-2 years experience in B2B marketing and business development.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Excellent communications, negotiation and presentation skills.
Strong business modeling and product strategy knowledge.
Track records of closing sales and securing new business.
Excellent meeting preparation skills, and engagement with clients and partners.
Ability to track issues, risks and opportunities and to follow up on them.
Ability to work with partners to deliver program objectives.
Ability to utilize social media and email communications
Excellent knowledge of English language (writing and public presentations)
Strong knowledge of social media, digital marketing and channel marketing.
Education and experience can be substituted by strong public speaking, engagement, presentation, writing and outreach skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop marketing plans for youth programs
Develop and execute B2B partnerships related to youth programs
Visit partners and customers to promote programs
Visit large donors to raise funds and promote the impact of the organization
Set up informational tables and booths at partner locations and conferences
Develop outreach and continuous engagement schedules (B2C and B2B)
Develop partnership MOUs
Engage with partners and clients to develop business.
Set up meeting agendas and follow up on action items.
Develop program data sheets and product promotion messaging
Write email messages to partners and develop program reports and summaries
Develop organization annual reports
Hold community events with partners
Develop initiative and campaign reports and summaries
Utilize digital content (images, videos) to promote products, and post on social media
Track outcomes against marketing KPIs and refine plans and implementation strategies
Lead a group of youth workers who can assist in the above responsibilities
Work Hours:
20-30 hours per week
